I always enjoy the final few days leading up to Christmas the most. The mad rush of gift buying is (mostly) complete, the halls are decked and the holiday parties are winding down. With family close by, we don’t have to travel. For me it’s a time to slow things down and truly appreciate the season. So today, with our first snow on the ground and nothing on the calendar, I get to enjoy one of my favorite traditions: holiday baking with the family.
